Nordbygg is heading to Sweden’s west coast! On 21–22 April 2027, the built environment sector will come together at Åbymässan for two days of networking, knowledge sharing and business opportunities. Nordbygg Väst will bring together everyone from tradespeople and installers to contractors, architects, property owners, developers and academia, giving them the opportunity to share perspectives and contribute to the development of western Sweden.
Working together for the development of western Sweden
Western Sweden faces both opportunities and challenges. Issues such as innovation and development, preparedness, electrification, sustainability and skills supply are affecting the built environment sector in many ways. These topics were also on the agenda when Nordbygg Väst’s Advisory Board held its first meeting on 8 October.
The discussions focused not only on the industry’s future challenges but also on how Nordbygg Väst can become a meeting place where companies of all sizes connect, share experiences and establish new partnerships. These discussions will play an important role in the continued development of the event’s content and programme.
– We want to develop Nordbygg Väst together with the industry. Our Advisory Board brings together people with extensive knowledge of the issues that matter in western Sweden. Their experience helps us shape the event’s content and programme, says Lena Malm, Head of Built Environment at Nordbygg.

Together, we can build knowledge and establish partnerships that strengthen both the industry and the competitiveness of the Gothenburg region, says Karin Bjerner, Business Development Manager at Business Region Göteborg.

Nordbygg Väst’s Advisory Board includes Petra Sedelius from Byggföretagen,Gabriella Lörnbo Ekberg from Göteborgs Byggmästareförening, Carina Bohm from cmb, Anne Piegsa and Karin Bjerner from Business Region Göteborg, Britta Permats from Svensk Ventilation and Veronica Koutny Sochman from Byggmaterialindustrierna. Nordbygg is represented by Lena Malm, Head of Built Environment.
